Welcome to my "Ravin" page

This picture was taken behind a Chinook helicopter just before we took off for a remote camp somewhere in Bosnia.
My first observation, while in flight, was that these things leak a lot of hydraulic fluid!

Long, long overdue is my "Ravin" page.  One might ask, "Since this is the band you've done the most touring with, why wait to so long to build a web page dedicated to this great band?"  I'm glad you asked.  As you will eventually see here, I have such a vast wealth of material on this band that I just didn't know where to start.  I still don't.  I'm wingin' this page every step of the way.

I think the best way to present this band is in a chronological manner.  Since I have roughly 1,000 tour pictures of this band, I will just start posting them as I find them, and will insert or ammend pictures as the chronological scale dictates.  I will do my best to not show too many pictures on any one page.  Instead I will have links to take you off to different sub-pages.  But for now, there's just this one page.  This page will probably go through many changes over a short period of time, so please bear with me.

Amsterdamned...May and June of 1999

One of my favorite stops on our tours was Amsterdam...the original sin city.  Ravin has been to Amsterdam twice.  The following pictures are a combination of both trips.  One was in 1999 and the other was in 2000, I believe.  Most of these pictures are from the 1999 tour. At this point this page is going to serve as more of a pictoral than a story line.  That will change as I start to remember the tour and I have time to convey those thoughts to this page.

Beer!

More beer!

While in Amsterdam the Anne Frank House is a must-see.  Here's a picture of the book-case entryway to the secret apartment.

Here's a picture of Anne Frank's actual diary.

The walls inside the secret apartment were decorated with pictures of American movie stars.

Here's an actual photograph of Anne Frank on display at the Anne Frank House Museum.

We toured a couple weeks in Europe with a band called, "Vivid."  Here's (L to R) Nathan, Mark and Danny
at the "Coffee House" in Amsterdam.  One could purchase a lot more than coffee there.
Mark now plays in a band called Del Castillo.

Here's a guy jammin' on his battery-powered guitar rig in Amsterdam's main square.

I think this picture was taken near the train station.

Flooding-schmoding!  This apartment complex naturally resides partially submerged 365 days a year.
Can you believe some Americans actually complain when this happens?
