InterVideo Inc.'s WinDVD is a simple-to-use DVD player combining all the features you would expect to find in a standard consumer DVD player, in addition to some very advanced functions, such as full VCD 2.0 support, full precision video decode, a choice of user interfaces, and video display options. You can play DVD titles or Video CDs - WinDVD automatically determines the type of disc in the DVD drive and uses the correct playback method.

Each DVD (Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc) is designed by the DVD author. Different authors create different features for their specific disc. WinDVD handles all of the features used by most DVD authors today.

Most DVD discs have menus through which you can navigate. WinDVD recognizes these features and lets you access them through the WinDVD user interface.

Use of this software is subject to the terms in the Intervideo license agreement.

This product is being delivered to end-users as an OEM product, most often bundled with a hardware component, or as part of the system itself. End-users requiring support should directly contact the OEM provider of the software.
