This username and password will be the "Network Login" on the client system. In Win 2K this is done from the Control Panel via "Users and Passwords." On some Windows 98 versions the computer login doubles as the network login and is done from "users". Don't forget (stuff to watch out for): 1. A PCMCIA Wireless Adapter card is a 32-bit card. The host laptop must have a "Cardbus Controller" installed. If not, the PCMCIA slot can only accept 16 bit PCMCIA cards. A "Cardbus Controller" is hardware and can be found in the Device Manager. 2. "Whitelist" their IP address through Zone alarm. 3. Create an account (username + password) on HOST system for EACH user.
