SUMMARY

This is a preview of DisplayLink drivers with Windows 7 support. It 
has undergone limited test on a limited set of Windows 7 builds, and is
only suitable for advanced users to evaluate the software. It is not
suitable for corporate deployment.

It is based on an early version of upcoming 5.x drivers from DisplayLink.

Please check http://www.displaylink.com/win7 for the latest DisplayLink 
preview driver, updated as new beta versions of Windows 7 are released.
Production Win7 support will appear in future (5.x, 6.x) versions of
DisplayLink software, nearer to the production release of Windows 7.

Key functional areas present:
*  Extend windows desktop onto multiple nivos. 
*  Resolution, color depth and refresh rates updatable from Windows Display 
   Properties.
*  Display orientation can be controlled through Windows Display 
   Properties.
*  Window+P support.
*  DisplayLink tray icon is not started by default. 
*  Uninstaller updated

Limitations:
*  Currently software allows selection of a mode not supported by DisplayLink 
   Alex chips (e.g. 1900x1200 appears to be supported, but the edges of the 
   display are not rendered). 
*  User may not be able to change orientation if the native graphics drivers 
   do not support changing orientation. 
*  Cannot duplicate (clone/mirror) 
*  Issues with making a nivo display primary.
*  It may be necessary to reboot Win7 after installation if a NIVO is not 
   detected
*  Does not support Intel/ATI switchable graphics laptops
*  Does not support SLI graphics
*  Does not support multiple gaphics adapters
